Dreamlike

Last night I saw a funny dream.

I was on the street doing my traineeship stuff (carrying heavy boxes) when a little annoying boy appeared and started to call me names and carp me. I got really irritated and after a minute I was furious enough to attack him. I jumped on him and bited his neck pretty hard and left him crying, causing his parents and other people to fuss around. So I run on to my little pirateship which I parked inside another, bigger ship. It had two pirate captains on board who wrote me a certificate that's it's okay and completely legal for me to bite children. I took that with me, sailed back and showed it to the amazed parents. They were ready to sue me from violating their child but couldn't do that because of the certificate. Then I laughed some evil bastard laugh and woke up. A delicious dream indeed, too bad such pirate laws nor pirates exist anymore...

Also I went to see The legend of guardians which was better than I ever expected. I am usually very calm watcher but in this movie every flight scene really crunched my stomach (and I wasn't even watching the 3d version, wonder how awesome that would feel o_o). The owls and backrounds were really nicely done, I just sat there silent observing how cool it looks when air waves in owl fur. And though many fantasy films feel ridiculous at some point because they tend to exaggerate the drama, this didn't. They used lots of slow-mo which adds the feeling of epicness. It might be that it's crappier on home screen but as a movie experience, I warmly recommend <3

I can already feel the impulse to draw mass amounts of owl-inspired art..

Two little stories of today

Today morning I was sitting on the station and waiting for the metro, usual slow morning thoughts behind my eyes when a little girl walked past weirdly. Further observed, she was trying to avoid stepping on the edges of the floor tiles. My first thought was "ha, like that would save you" and second after I wondered when the hell did I get so cynical.

Later, when I was sewing (in a hall full of old antique objects so maybe not so surprising after all) I got startled by a tiny spider that scampered across the table. At first I planned to kill it but then I saw it hanging on a string of web under the table. I tried to snap it but the web didn't break, only got stuck to the blades. I swung the scissors to my side and the spider fell off. Hope it fucks with somebody else's work next time.

Jägermeister deers

A little something I drew a while ago. I had an epic title name for this but I forgot it (damn)... And I didn't really realize it back then but this reminds me of Jägermeister : D

I've always liked deers (could be consequence of all the Bambi mindfuckery). They move so awesomely subtly but especially the jumpy style they use when fleeing is fascinating.

Also speaking of deers go try and play the Endless Forest. You can google it yourself for more info but shortly it's a really peaceful multiplayer game where everybody is a deer. You can't communicate by typing but there's a variety of gestures you can choose from to express your mind. And then there's some forest magic to change the deers appereance but you can only use that magic to others. I love the idea of running around aimlessly and socializing with others maybe just by laying down next to them. Lovably hippie concept <3

"I'm aliiiive!!!"

This idea came to my mind from two songs. The first one explains the unicorn. I've always found the part "I'm alive" rather amusing and ironic, to be so happy about being near extinction :D. It's like if the last dinosaur would've ran around in the meteor rain singing some happy melody though it's doomed for good : D

The soldier reminds me of this (video pretty much explains it):

I think all kinds of war heros are pretty overvaluated. In my country, every once in a while they rise the so-called war veterans on a pedestal and gather money for them. They have suffered too yes but I don't know if it's respectable to highlight somebody from killing people. I even think that country borders are pretty questionable and war is the most suspicious thing going on in this world. Though it's contradictionary, on the otherwise I find all the weapons and the drama that it includes pretty interesting and some war-related stuffs have pretty cool designs if observed from the artistic point...

Russian animations

Currently I've been interested about russian animations. The characters in them, especially animals, have really simple and lovable designs. Also the animation and movement is really smooth, i simply love them ^^. Russian language sounds kinda cool too though i have no idea what they're saying : D but I can still follow the plot pretty easily just by listening the tone of their voice.

I watched this when I was little though It was fin-dubbed then. I still found it pretty awesome, it follows the original book's plot pretty well and has awesomely lovable and sexy female bagheera (!). One of my fav characters in any animation i've seen! Plus Shere-Khan is pretty cool too and I like the bright colored jungle and animals in this film.

Yesterday I watched this one and I fell in love with that tiny kitten there, it's so damn cute. I also want a kitten that speaks and sings with soft voice ;_;. I made a sticker inspired by her design, here it is:

I sticked it onto my laptop's lid :). I thought of making more of these with different colors or making a top with fabric colors or such. Or a kitten shaped-pillow.

Huge sticker

So here's my first post uhuhu so exciting : 3 !
This one is hand-painted huge sticker though it doesn't show very well from the picture. As I've told in my dA I'm currently fascinated about death (...and it doesn't mean anything, I just find it interesting) and all things connected to it, like skeletons in this case. Sniffing flowers with nonexisting nostrils : D. I tried to make this look like an old russian icon (persons pictured in icons always have a halo around their head). Death is kind of a saint if you think about it, many people are afraid of death and most of us pay some respect to it. Though death itself isn't anything but the feelings we associate with it.

Finally

So this is it, my brand new artblog!

Some of you might know me from dA but it would be nice if some new people would find me trough this (maybe those who don't visit actual art sites so much).
Here I will share sketches, finished and not so finished illustrations, photographs etc but some personal stuff too like stories I've written or my opinions and thoughts in general, pretty much whatever I feel like sharing. But everything I'll show here is made by me or has something to do with me unless I say it doesn't (pretty narcissistic huh?).
I haven't used blogspot or writed in english so much so this is kind of an experiment but I hope this will work out. And if not I already have a plan B : D And be patient, I might not be the fastest updater in the world. But I'll try to update this more often than my dA, new stuff will come out every month at least, I promise (If not feel free to bomb me with angry comments :D).

Hope you enjoy my works and everything else you see here : )
